So that at least means the comms module has a signal.

I had to do that once, glad you’re all sorted.

The removing the fuse fix worked for me, but it is a bit ridiculous if this has to be done regularly. How often does this happen? Is there a permanent fix?

If you have to do it more than once I would report it to your dealer.

Morning.

I am a relatively new ID.4 owner and my 1st edition has just started doing this. Happy to try the F19 trick, but before I do, does anyone know if the fuse configuration is the same on ID.3 & 4?

Cheers

The fuse removal trick got the car back online but the app won't connect to it , I've deleted and reinstalled the app but no joy , any ideas have also done a soft reset with no joy

App seems to be playing up for some in the UK group on Facebook.

My WeConnect app ‘reset’ and required me logging in again (took three attempts) between 1:30 and 2:30 today…

Do you think this is related to the car itself being stuck in offline mode?

If the emergency contact button shows green then the eSim is working however the car has probably lost connection with the server. There seems to be a lot of server issues recently. 'We Connect' sent me the instructions to reconnect, you need to follow the sequence as described. I've copied the instructions below, they advised me to keep them in case of further server dropouts. It worked for me, however I did it the day after I contacted We Connect, I believe the server had come back online. We Connect seem keen to help, I'd email them via the app if the fault continues.
Good luck

Cheers Rob.

My car was stuck in Offline mode, pressing the offline mode button via the pulldown menu, via settings or by pressing the (greyed out) data/signal icon just resulted in “This function is currently unavailable. Please try again later.” (See attachments).

As soon as that issue was resolved and I had 4G back via the eSIM, my WeConnect ID. app functioned as expected again; I didn’t have to uninstall or reconfigure the app or phone.

The status of the remote application *should* have no bearing on the vehicle’s ability to connect with the data network.

I’ll update here if my dealer finds anything in the logs when it goes in on Monday 👍

Thanks Karlwolley. It'll be good to get the feedback. I'm now of the view that if I go off line again it's likely to be the server. I'll give it time before considering a car issue.

Mines has just started doing this last night and today has been fine since I took delivery early June? I wonder if it’s more a network issue rather than the car, I’ll wait until Monday and see how it is then?

Hi all, just got mine back from the dealer. They said a software update was applied (to fix the airbag error) but I am still on 2.1.

The offline mode issue for me was 100% localised issue with the vehicle itself, resetting the hardware for the related components in the vehicle brought it out of offline mode instantly.

Just had this problem this morning (it was fine overnight charging) Read this & tried Robgarth's method, it reconnected before I could delete the app on my phone so all good (at the moment) My 4G signal has been three bars throughout.

Ive been having this issue for the last few days also I thought it may have been some sort of setting that I have touched. Is this a common issue which has to be returned to dealer?
