greetings peeps,
ordered myself on 30/7 a family pro performance on the motability scheme.

with a order number of 3140xxxx I'm expecting delivery sometime between me getting a telegram from Liz, & hell freezing over....... whichever comes 1st ! My dealer, although very helpful, agrees with me that everything regards delivery is a 'bit up in the air' atm. ah well, I'm not in a rush.

Car is mangy knees / light black, so ....... the delightful bin lids that come with it are going to be colour matched [by myself] just to add a little something to the appearance. good idea ??

TTFN........ SGHOM.

My business pro is being delivered on monday , moonstone grey , liked the grey / black roof contrast it comes with bin lids but will replace them with silver black oem lids instead which look better

I’ve a set of these - and they look great. I paid a hefty import ‘dividend’ for mine as they were not easily available in the Uk but Ininderstand the set are about £120 now.

I bought them for £115 for set on ebay german seller took a week to deliver no import to pay.

Ready to add to the car , the standard bin lids are just too hideous VW might as well shipped the cars without them with only bare steelies , i would be surprised if anyone would want to buy them after i replaced them lol

I believe you can also get the all black covers if thats your taste

All black ones are for the id4 and need some trimming with a sharp knife to fit - apparently.

Liz doesn’t send telegrams any longer, so I think it’s hell freezing over.

Ha Ha utummo. I was looking forward to one........ in 37 years time !!

As my car is only being 'borrowed' from motability for 2 years or so, It wasn't worth me paying for the extra 'non refundable' alloys. I think a quick blast with a rattle can will help the looks........... slightly.

Hello there, my car is on Motability as well, so I decided against paying £650 for alloys and decided to stick with the wheel trims. At the time, I wasn't struck with the wheel trims, but I wasn't offended by them either. However, after seeing people slag the trims off, me being me, I now love the trims :D I've always been a sucker for the underdog ;)
