Just Ordered a Max

Hi all, just wanted to say hello.

I've just ordered a Max Pro Performance in Manganese Grey with the 19" Andoya wheels and bike carrier prep, via Drive The Deal (who were fantastic to deal with). Expected lead time is 30 weeks.

I'm no stranger to VWs having owned nine Golfs (mostly GTIs and Rs) and an up! GTI which I ran alongside a MK7.5 R estate for 3 years. A brief hiatus has seen me in a BMW X3, but it feels good to be coming back to a VW. I also have a 987 Porsche Boxster for ICE thrills.

Anyway, really looking forward to getting the car, I was really bowled over by it on the test drives we've had.

Thank you chaps, just waiting for my order number from the dealer, Gillingham VW, before I can begin the torturous process of tracking the build. Hopefully it’s not as bad as the 9-months I endured waiting for the up! GTI.
