Utumno wrote: Wed Feb 09, 2022 2:43 pm There are dealer quotas to deal with as well; smaller dealerships can only order fewer vehicles than larger dealerships. So it's perfectly possible that someone ordered earlier at a smaller dealership and gets their vehicle months later than someone ordering later at a larger dealership, due to those quotas. This of course looks random to us folks with our metaphorical noses pressed against the glass :-(
Hi not sure if it’s worth amending the spreadsheet but I popped into my dealer today to chat with my salesman as it’s crunch time to part with money for an Octopus home charger in time for the OLEV grant. My build week it seems is now estimated week 11 (was 12, before that 10!). Thanks
What’s the deal with the grant? I know if closes soon- but does the car have to be on your drive by the end of March to qualify?

When I ordered my EQC we had the charger installed about 2 months ahead of me getting the car and the claim was fine
The supplier just needs confirmation of an order for an EV and as long as the charger is installed by 31st March 2022, you would qualify for the grant BUT there is quite a long lead time on installations so I would not hang about. I ordered in November for an anticipated car delivery this month, although the car is delayed, it was better to have an unused charger than lose the grant for the sake of a few more months.

At least my car exists at last!
Thats great hopefully you'll be getting it in a few weeks 😀

I checked my wk49 order with DTD again this morning, but it's still on status 20 with no more updates, (your order was placed some time earlier than mine tho) 🤞 things are moving forward.

(Ps To their credit the dtd dealer is replying even when there is no 'new' news)

Anyone of the DTD clan heard from the dealer with the tractor name? They seem to have gone awfully quiet on me since I mentioned the word Polestar on this forum :)

They have upped the spec of the new base level 'life' id3 model, over 'yesterdays' model. (It does make your wonder what was the point of the my22.5 updates now tho).
Before this the id.4 life interior was definitely better, but now the id3 has caught up, and some extras too.

You are correct the base id4 has got a 52kwh battery (lower range and slower acceleration)

Currently my dealer is saying 50wks+ on new I'd.4 orders (I've got one on order since 21/10/21, with no sign of a provisional build date yet). Where's my partner's id3 order, placed 4 weeks earlier, is confirmed in build.

Just read your signature - you were informed it left factory then subsequently that actually it wasn't built and still awaiting parts!? That's horrendous service. Its one thing to continually blame lack of parts/supply - but to actually be lied to... WOW!
Yes, exactly! When I called out the broker on it, they blamed it on VW as they originally told them it had left and then updated them that it hadn't.

Making it harder to trust anything they say now!
16 Sep: ID3 Max in Moonstone Grey. BW 40 confirmed. ETA early Dec.

The VW Ireland site has removed all of their trim levels as well now, but they don't have Life - they have Business or Family to choose from by the looks of things

There is a lot of mis information going around in the absence of any real information! Not that you can read too much into it but your order number looks like a cancellation of some sort as looking at the spreadsheet I ordered 21st August and have 314400** and you ordered about three weeks later but have an earlier number 31401*** which looks more like a July order. So maybe you will get lucky and escape the factory sooner!

With the changes to the standard life spec and my order not being built until June I thought I would check with my dealer. My Life will be the same spec as when I ordered it, all life spec that were ordered before the change will be the spec that was ordered.

You'd be lucky to take delivery in 2022 looking at that build week. It's ridiculous, I'm a week behind you in terms of order but different spec, hope mine isnt heading the same way!

Yeah, I'm not in for a 1+ year lead time. Polestar say they can get me a factory ordered car in May, so that's the way I think I'll be going.

Honestly can't blame you. Would appreciate an update if you do decide to bail out just to clean up the spreadsheet, if that's no trouble 😀

When I go to the ID.3 section on the volkswagen.ie website the only place I can see trim levels is here when I click on "configure your ID.3". The configurator is not there and it just shows current offers and promotions:

https://www.volkswagen.ie/en/new-cars/id3.html#MOFA

ID.3 Business for €359/month or Family for €329/month
