I've just noticed on my Plan Leasing order they have now moved my December 2021, build week 46 2021 to am estimated delivery of end of July! I doubt any Max or Tour is ever getting out!

Yup! Ordered 4th october for the life pro model and still not got a build date i was meant to be end of this month but thats moved a few times since i got told that in Jan

I ordered my Life Pro-Performance with East Derry wheels in early October last year and still don’t have a confirmed build slot, but my dealer’s latest update has moved the provisional build week back to week 42.

Delivery would now almost certainly be sometime next year.

As I don’t need a car as large as the id3, I have taken another look at the Honda e (available within a couple of weeks) and the MINI Electric - available in August/September.

Mine has slipped from status 10 for week 22/2022 to status 10 for week 27/2022.

Not sure it's worth the update, but I'm still status 10, but remain on week 19 and have not slipped at all in 2022 (yet).

I'm a day before you and all I have is status 10.

Fwiw, I actually ordered mine at the end of July but didn't get the order confirmation email till the 20th of August, so I just take my order date from there.

For the Max and Tour crew, especially those with BW40 2021 orders, I can confirm that contacting the VW executive office is a waste of time. They glossed over most of my questions and offered nothing beyond the "awaiting semiconductors" rhetoric.

Your vehicle has gone into build and is awaiting semi conductors, which I am sure you are aware that a number of semiconductors are required in many components within our vehicles.

Your vehicle will be a model year 22 vehicle and I am very sorry that I am unable to give you any further details at this time.

Couldn't even answer if I should reasonably expect it to arrive this side of 2023.

So 2023 it'll be, which h I am now starting to think, they'll try and scrap.my order to force me on to the new life model.

They will get what for if they try that trick here, the range from the 77 and the matrix headlights are the reason I ordered ID3, there would be surly be grounds to sue them there, especially as they are on record saying "all existing orders will be built at the agreed price"

I imagine you'd have to put in more than anything you could potentially get for that. For what its worth, the higher range of the 77kWh battery is the main reason I picked the ID3 as well, that and its in my affordable price range.

The problem trying to bring a case here is that on all their literature and web pages, the small print states they can change spec and RRP throughout the year. Basically yes you ordered X Y Z but due to changes etc they can say X Y doesn't exist anymore, and you are left with the option to accept or cancel.

I emailed the head honcho at VW in the region where the cars are being built, not expecting a response. But he must have forwarded the mail to the UK executive office at VW, and they have just contacted me. I now have a name and number of someone in the executive office who is looking into my order (and I'll get her to look at all the other Max and Tour orders if I can)
