You can add my details to the spread sheet too I've been lurking for a while and have a guestimate that I may see my car August/September based on spreadsheet and recent news on people's orders

Initially had an update in December that I had an unconfirmed build week last week in may

Then had a call in Feb to say it would be around July build then Putin decided to be Putin and the estimate has been lost since lol but with that said I feel like it may be September before we get to see it

Happy and for those that stayed the test of time that are getting their news though

Hi, I've added your details as best I can. The order number you provided doesn't seem to be a factory/commission/VW order number - they all begin with 3, always 8 digits, and I'd expect yours to start 31xxxxxx given you placed an order in 2021 (2022 orders seem to be all 32xxxxxx !). It's often quite hard to get actual factory order numbers out of leasing companies, but you'll get a better sense of where your vehicle order is in what passes for the queue with that information.

Right now my dealer isn't returning my calls, and I can only imagine that means he hasn't heard anything back from VW UK and has no further updates to give. This can only mean the vehicle remains solidly unescaped from Zwickau...

Long time lurker here, If you want to add my details to the spreadsheet to maybe help others out with timings that would be great,

I ordered a ID3 Family Pro Performance in Moonstone Grey and East Derry Alloys last August (2021) from Listers - Order # 31423***
It had an original unconfirmed build week of 49 2021 and then slipped to week 51 unconfirmed.

It finally got a confirmed Build week 11 back in February 2022 for a w/c 14th March 2022 build.

After comparing information from others this week on Utumno's spreadsheet of doom I was 90% certain it was built so I messaged dealer for a screenshot on order status.

He confirmed Its built, sat at docks in Emden awaiting transport to UK.

Credit to all you guys who have submitted information to be added as its given me a great overall picture of the fiasco that is the VW ID build process and helps others with comparing build dates etc,

Good luck to those still waiting, have hope you will get there in the end.

Hi ag-indie, I think it’s nearly impossible to say! I have a Life Pro Performance ordered a couple of weeks before you (order 31491***) and my dealer has indicated a very provisional build week 42, which is mid October. But, and there’s always a but, on past experience a lot of cars have been up to 10 weeks in build which would take it to Christmas, and then up to 8-10 weeks from the factory to delivery, which would be late February/early March next year.

But, who knows - you may be lucky!

Thanks Utumno, i was just taking the numbers from the order form i had. I'll try and get a hold of that from the leasing company as the guy who deals with it through the work hasn't been the most helpful.

Cheers It can often be tricky to get the order numbers out of VW, let alone leasing companies. And salary sacrifices are even worse. No matter if you can't get it, it's just another useful point of reference for people here trying to "read the tealeaves" in VW's build and delivery chaos . Let us know any updates whenever you get them and the spreddie will be updated.

After the email you sent and him replying that he'll look in to it, he's claiming "nothing from VW UK" that isn't right, something is definitely sus about that. Is he saying VW UK have no info or he hasn't heard back from them?

There has to be someone that's able to tell you exactly what the hell is going on, whether the car is in a field part built, on the factory floor, given to someone else etc.

I've been thinking that for quite some time . This is exactly what I got back from the dealer, verbatim:

Volkswagen UK have not responded to my email. I will chase them up and advise as soon as I hear from them.
