Delivery time
Got my Max delivered on a trailer a short while ago.
Same seats etc doesn't seem to be memory, which is sort of what I was expecting. But overall I'm really happy with it. v2.3 on the display. No side sensors. Others on this thread have have helped manage expectations. So thanks all.
Connected with ease using the weconnect ID app was very straight forward thanks to all the help of this thread and advice others have given.
I think I need to get those funky wheel trims to replace the cost cutting bin lids.
I'm highly appreciative to utumno for your assistance with the spreddy. Without which we would have been none the wiser. Thanks dude
Will post a few pics later as i'm back working!

Plenty of 50kw down here but no so many 150s, She’ll are installing them on the A30 stations that run down the spine of the county.Adam1980 wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 8:11 amGood luck! We did a summer holiday to Cornwall last year in my EQC- once youre past Exeter rapid chargers are like hens teeth. There was a single Shell site that had a 150kw unit, other than that it was a 3 pin overnightDogcow wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 7:48 am Of course there’s a final f*ck up. Call from the dealer to say the car isn’t charged, their DC charger must have “tripped” Now going in at 11am.
Unrelated note, ZapMap app is amazing for EV route planning. Doing a trip from the Northwest to Cornwall next weekend, not ideal a week after getting my first EV, plus I hear they still use horse and carts down that way.

Congrats mate! I was surprised to see yours is a November order and has now been delivered but then I noticed @evfan ordered theirs in February, that's crazy quick. I'm happy for you both.Googs wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 9:32 am Got my Max delivered on a trailer a short while ago.

I am located in Spain and ordered a ProS in Oct 21.
Just go this message from the dealer in Barcelona I think it is mostly understandable without translation. I haven´t seen this type of information posted here and thought it might be interesting.
Fingers crossed!

It’s because you chose nice alloys, if you stomach the bin lids they build them quickerthe.kes wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 8:00 amWill you please stop going on about getting your car soon when my car ordered a day after yours but a Family spec all the same is now looking at status 10 for week 38/2022?Dogcow wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 7:48 am Of course there’s a final f*ck up. If you have any questions please do let me know,
Having to send an email every few months just to be told they have no idea but will contact us when they know isn't good enough to be honest.
Even with all the problems in production and world events a rough idea would help, especially as the car we have at the moment is going to have to be replaced at the end of the year.
If it wasn't for the good deal we managed to negotiate we would have cancelled by now.
Our Family Pro was ordered 29/10/21 taking a rough guess I'm not expecting it until 2023....

So collection of our ID3 was not the smoothest. Pick up delayed 2 hours later while they charged it, then had issues getting WeConnect ID working with the car. Good news is it’s a 22.5, side sensors, tweaked interior which I do like and it’s running 3.0. Will attach some pics.
Regarding the app, this may already be known but I’ll state it, there are two “We Connect” apps. We need “We Connect ID” not the other simply named “We Connect”. Realised that quickly but as we were running late we left the dealer without connecting the app. Got home, went through the process of adding vehicle to the app, VIN worked and all was going smooth until it came to scanning a QR code to verify the user. App on the phone falsely reported success, car spat out and error message and we were left as a Guest user. I believe it’s new in 3.0 but the car now has a primary user and guest users, it’s this creating of a user that was causing the issue. Repeating the process instantly returned to the QR verification, so it was remembering it was up to that point, but same bug was present. After several attempts repeating the process resulted in a black screen after trying to log in.
Then remembered I’d seen a software update available which I dismissed in case it was a long process… when I looked at it I felt dumb, specifically mentions being needed for WeConnect log in and was very quick…however… after install even though it said it was ready to use the same error persisted. Only after I hard rebooted the system (hold down power button below screen for 15 seconds) did the log in process finally work. The dealer should have ran that update before collection, just like they should have made sure the car was charged
Anyway, once all that was sorted I then had the pleasure of trying to educate the better half in how to drive it. That was 10x more stressful.
It’s a joy to drive though, just as I remember the test drive and well worth the 8 month wait, hang in there those with delays unless you have the dollar for a Tesla or Polestar!

Looks fantastic! Great to know about the issue with the app, who knows if it'll be the same version by the time I get mine but its good to know just in case. The interior looks better in your picture than almost any other pictures I've seen. You've made me very excited about mine... damn you! I've been keeping my excitement in check for months!

You should also take a look at ABRP - Zap-Map is generally good for finding chargers, and ABRP better for route planning. Obviously personal choice factors in, but if you haven't taken a look it might be worth it.

Also Wattsup. Does a similar but slightly different job again. I prefer the visual interface to Zapmap but use both.
Edit - and for that specific route there is a new 6 charger MFG hub just off the M6 at J9 that might be very useful. It's on wattsup and MFG's app but zapmap haven't added it yet.
