And I’d just like to add my heartfelt thanks to Jim for keeping the spreadsheet updated while I’ve had considerable other calls on my time.
Many thanks Jim, you’re a solid gold trooper.

Still at status 00, this is bloody ridiculous now.
God knows if the government grant will still be applied if this goes over 12 month.
Despite the ridiculous wait, it may be too expensive for me as I’m leasing it.
What’s your thoughts on this? Would the payments go up a lot?
Thanks
I'd like to see the dealers official response to that claim before considering cancelling. Not that I think they'd sell the cancelled cars on for an inflated priceUtumno wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 10:15 pmDaveion wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 9:35 pmVertu called me on Monday to confirm that my car is likely to go past 12 months and the grant will not be provided by VW, Gov or dealership. Oof I feared this might happen. VW is blaming everything possible but their own crappy planning for delays, and nothing is more likely to empty the order book backlog than the removal of the grant for qualifying vehicles.
And they can blame someone else, so nobody loses but the poor customer. Win/win for VW, schnapps all round in Wolfsburg
So that would put the price of the car up by £4250 for me including the VW deposit contribution, out of interest which Vertu dealership was that, mine in Mansfield said all would be honoured.Daveion wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 9:35 pmVertu called me on Monday to confirm that my car is likely to go past 12 months and the grant will not be provided by VW, Gov or dealership.
