Do you mind sharing what date in October your order got confirmed?

I placed the order in October, the build week was confirmed on 07 June for week 26.

Am I wrong in thinking that someone on here has taken delivery of a Max or Tour that has featured the 22.5 updates at all? I had it in my head that has happened but now I'm doughting myself!

I'll be picking up my Tour 5 which is an MY22.5 in an few hours. I think there might have been someone who already picked up a Tour that was an MY22.5 already but I can't remember.

I have today received notification from my dealership that the Tour (ordered 1st Nov 2021) has finally moved from status 10 provisional week 47 to status 20 confirmed week 43.

I am however going to assume that the vehicle delivered will be a MYxx version and containing SW ver 0.9, simply because it will be made up of parts VW had hanging about in stock from the time they started production on the ID.3.

I could be pleasantly surprised of course, happy days.

I was always under the impression that status 20 was only invoked around 4 weeks before the "actual" build week, that is why so many cars are either 00 or 10 for so long. Hope you are right and things have changed because it does give more hope despite it still being sooo long in the future.

Very exciting news - my dealer confirmed my Family Pro Performance id.3 has arrived in the UK and I now have both chassis and registration numbers. FYI, the Elbe Highway docked at Sheerness last night - I would guess that others in the South awaiting an id might get some good news in the coming days.

Just picked up the car, some issues with the WeConnectID app while the dealer insisted the two keys being in the car would make no difference. As soon as I got herself to walk away from the car with the second key it worked immediately.

I'm out for a wee test drive at the moment but for those interested in the new interior on the Tour 5, here are some pictures to tide you over until some glory shots in the Dublin mountains.

Looks lovely, really pleased for you, I don’t have much experience in all this as quite new to everything ID3 but that looks like the 22.5 interior as far as I know.

I also took delivery of a Family Pro today, I am also having problem with the WeConnectID app registering (adding a new car). I will try it again later tonight and will upload some pictures when the house is less busy.

It come with Software 3.0.

Given everything else that is going on, I guess there is no way of knowing until it actually arrives. Although I personally have not heard of that particular nugget myself. What’s your reference for that info?

I did follow up and confirm with the dealer, in case it was VW having a cheap final laugh at a customers expense.
After all this time and knowing how VW treat their customers, certainly not naive enough to rely on anything other than the age old saying, believe it when I see it.

All I can do for now is try and believe some sort of good news is finally on the horizon. Especially after having received a never ending stream of updates advising status 10 with a scheduled build week always shifting to the right of X, Y and Z. Followed finally by one today saying the build had now been confirmed by VW as being week 43.

Like I say, would appreciate the reference for your statement. As that will give me the opportunity to question VW further.

Like duncsand a little earlier today, I too have received an email from my supplier confirming that my id3 Family Pro Performance is in the docks in the UK, and giving me both the registration and the chassis number.

Looking forward to getting it and experiencing electric motoring and finally finding out if the charger I installed months ago actually works!

It may turn up with some body panels from a Gulf and Polo too
