Was just quoting what I was told. Having checked you are correct, this IS wk36....so dealer was talking cobblers...... who would have guessed??!
I had my estimated build week of 40 a few weeks ago in a video from the dealer. Same convo with dealer he advised factory confirmation is 4 weeks ahead of actual build, usually updated on a Monday. This week is week 35. So confirmation should be on Monday for a wk40.... fingers crossed!
Fingers crossed indeed! Getting a little impatient now, want rid of my current car ASAP.
Order confirmed week 34 and given an estimated delivery date of week 4 2022.
Currently waiting for preliminary build date.

maybe Monday will be the day after all. I’ve reverted to the dealer to see if the estimated build week has changed, since the live chat only deals in confirmed dates.When an order is placed a provisional build week is given. I thought mine was week 38 but apparently I was wrong as it was week 39.

Yes, he sent it to me last Friday to let me know it had been confirmed. Brilliant! The sales rep I've been spoken to has been super helpful. When I asked her she said the 'estimated build week' isn't showing and to check again in a couple of weeks. When I asked what the availability is like at the factory she said 'they're currently scheduling builds in around week 44/45'. I would of thought those stated weeks of 44/45 are confirmed build weeks on other orders she has. But there have been people on here saying their build week has moved forward so hopefully they are stepping up production a little. Can they be confirmed build dates? You are right there.

I ordered the family pro with no extras. Ordered on 26 July, got my order number on 2nd of Aug! Your dealer should have a provisional build week but thats subject to change
If you've got the order number I'd try VW CS chat or call VW CS.
