Should be here in a couple of weeks, not 100% sure on the practicality of them, but I like the look of them.

Our ID3 Family came with this style of pedal, our Life didn't. Standard on 1st editions too.
Cupra Born V2 e-boost 230ps Aurora Blue, replaced ID3 PP Family

Audi S3 - because I hate rapid charging for long distance driving.

They are the VW all weather mats for the rear.

They come in 3 parts, with the middle bit having an overlap that goes under the side mats. They're a really good fit and should stay in position well.

Just got to keep an eye out for the fronts now

So, had a trip away this weekend, and thought we'd take the iD.3 rather than the ICE estate, as it was showing on Google maps as an 88 mile distance (176 round trip). No charging at the other end, but once there no driving.

First thing was I was a bit dubious if we would get everything in the boot, as my other half nd the 2 kids don't tend to travel light, but the boot seemed a lot bigger than it looked and it wasn't a problem.

It was from North Durham, to Flamingoland in North Yorkshire. Was driving 65-70 on the dual carriageways, and just driving steady, around the limit on other roads. Aircon on and off, as my other half was a bit chilly at times. Also went up Sutton Bank, which has a 25% gradient, but was a no bother.

Below are the displays from Friday when we arrived...

And had 163 miles range still showing...

The return journey was pretty decent too on Sunday night, with a total of 187 miles covered, 4.1 m/kWh, averaging 43mph. There was 17% left in the battery.

A bit of a bigger test next week, including some away from home charging, when me and my old man head down to Silverstone for the weekend!

He's less likely to give me an earful if there are any charging issues en route, and it'll be a lighter load, so should get a bit more out of the tank.

A good report, it’s nice to see you are still enjoying the car with the longer journeys, I’ve done several with similar economy and it’s always been a pleasure to drive.
Have fun at silverstone at the weekend

I have had my ID.3 about 5 weeks now and covered 2000 miles, I can report 225 to 240 miles on a charge at this time of year is possible and that I think the public charging network needs some work. We need to be able to turn up at a charger, step 1 plugin, step 2 swipe credit card, step 3 wait. Each machine is different, some want apps, some don't.

The only trip I won't be doing in my ID.3 this year is 2500 miles in 2 weeks for summer holidays in France. 3 adults and two teenagers is just too tight in the car with how the ladies pack.

You can do exactly that at most of the best charging networks and in England at least it's easy to plan journeys with no-one else. Just ignore the presence of chargers requiring apps when planning your route. We are unlikely to ever get rid of the bad ones but it doesn't matter when there are enough good ones about.

A journey to France with three adults and 2 teenagers in an ID.3 would certainly be interesting :D
