I see the 2022 brochure is online at VW. Mysteriously VW drivers in the UK are still deprived of the red paint option, unlike most European countries. Who knows why?

It is nothing to do with politics, of course, that you can choose between two blues and no reds!

Interesting they haven't yet pulled the mention of the memory seats in the Max & Tour in the new 7-Sep brochure.

Main changes:
  • Typo under Tour trim which said 'design plus' instead of 'design pack'
  • The wheel options were changed around a bit - one is now available on Max whereas it wasn't before?

Tour typo was there in the 1.7 and 1.8 pricelists as well. I swear nobody proofreads these things. Can't see any Max wheel changes myself, going back to the 1.5 price list; all wheels seem to have always been available optionally.

Biggest change I can see is that they've made it a lot clearer that you can order the bicolour wheel binlids as a no-cost option with the "Bi-colour exterior styling".

Are you sure about the politics? Labour aren't in power in the UK. Maybe if they were, red might be available.

True about the bi-colour options.

I mean they fixed the typo. The other change is that ‘1 zone climate system’ is now ‘Air Care Climatronic’ lol.

I used a diff tool to see these so I’m fairly confiden

Like the colour a lot, but can't help thinking that the black accents that we all have spoil it a little. Would prefer to see it in all red. Seats look good though. Wouldn't surprise me if it became available in UK as an exclusive colour for GTX or whatever performance variant comes to be.

Origionally i wanted a blue one, as in a darker blue but there isnt one. I did origionally state stonewashed blue which i was never overly keen on. I changed my mind when i was looking at a moonstone grey ID4 in the show room, the colour just kept growing and growing on me and part though going though a lot of the stuff i said "I want moonstone grey instead" then was delighted when it saved me £600 to spend on my Dynamic chassis control :)

Here's mine in the wild. Ordered in July, delivered in January. I'm in Ireland, but even here there are not many of these. Only 3 red ones sold in the country in January (including mine).

The colour has only grown on me.

If I was ordering from scratch, it'd be Turquoise for me, both the ID3s we bought were already built, and the white metallic doesn't look metallic, it has no grain sparkle at all.

I'd love to see that red on a bright day.- it looks darker in that pic than I anticipated, but it doesn't look a particularly bright day.

My neighbour has a Kings Red MK8 GTI. Looks fantastic in the sun, but I find it a bit dull unless the weather is great. Still one of the better colours available though.

Went for the scale silver.
From what I see in these forums it might be a bit of a rarity.
Looks great in the very few videos I've seen online.
If it ever gets built will be very 😊
