Hi all,

Recently received my id3 family/58kw/pro. Love it

Has anyone installed a screen protection film on the infotainment, mainly to reduce fingerprints and glare ? Does it work ?
If so any recommendations on a brand ?

If you use finger tips rather than big sharp fingernails, I probably wouldn't bother.

I’ve not fitted one to an id3, but I had a bmw m140i and fitted a matt screen protector to the idrive screen.

It helped no end with glare, didn’t effect inputs and gave the added bonus of protecting the screen. I don’t think you will scratch the screen in use, the risk for me is scratching it using a cleaning cloth that might have some debris on it.

Would like something like this as the finger prints hurt my OCD lol. However I wonder what happens if you need to take the protector off, I would worry it might lift part of the screen too.
