Has anybody had their windscreen replaced ?
I have a stone chip that cracked during a repair and so now need a new screen.
I have a 1st Edition and so cameras and sensors need to be re calibrated.
Any issues with surrounding plastic trim or anything?.

Me, within the first month of ownership.

Claimed through my insurance company, National Windscreens replaced the glass, VW did the calibration (the car was such a new model National Windscreens couldn't do that at the time)

No issues at all besides just getting it done.

It's safe to drive in the meantime.
