I know mine is a pro perf based on 0-60 6.9 i tested lol
150kW is 204ps. Does anyone have a 145/150ps (110kW) with Pro badges?

The nomenclature is pretty daft with badges anyway. A Pro may or may not have Pro badges, but a Pro Performance has Pro badges? Not too logical.

Doesn’t the flank badging system just represent the battery capacity, with “1st” being the odd one out?

If you had the higher performance motor, that’s not denoted on any badge, far as I’m aware :

“Pure” - 45kWh
“Pro” - 58kWh
“Pro S” - 77kWh

Have I missed something?

Pure and Pro refer to battery capacities (Pro is the 58kWh, Pure is the smaller 44(?)kWh).

Performance is the designation for the 204PS motor.

Yes - mine is the lower horsepower Pro (not performance) version and it has pro badges.

1st Edition, Life, Family, Tour, Max, Business etc are or were Trims.
Pro refers to the Battery being 58kWh
Performance is the 150kW motor but performance isn't badged and the 150kW motor only comes with 58 or 77 battery so will always be Pro?

I think that means they all have Pro except the Style (or 1st Edition)

Edit: Unless there's a Pro S badge for the Tour?
No, it only says pro if you have the performance 200 engine.
Whatever the trim level, if you have the 150 engine, it will be blank
No? Thanks for adding a level of confusion that wasn't needed.
I assume by 200 you mean the 204PS equivalence of the 150kW motor as I am not aware there is a 200kW variant.
Likewise the 150? Again I guess you mean 150PS which Only comes with the smaller battery. (and only available from stock)
Then there is the 145PS which is available with Either 45kWh or 58kWh

There's nothing "No" about my statement. - "Performance is the 150kW motor but performance isn't badged and the 150kW motor only comes with 58 or 77 battery so will always be Pro?

I have yet to see a 'Performance' badge added to the car (at factory) hence 'Performance isn't badged'
You also Cannot buy a car with the 150kW motor and also a 45kWh battery. So seeing a 'Pro' badge 'Must' be a 58kWh battery as unless you have a tour it will say Pro S (as confirmed) if that also requires it to have the 150kW motor then that completes the information as originally asked.

I assume then a car with the 110Kw motor and a 58kWh battery will have a blank badge? Or are there further options, Is there a 'Pure' variant?

AND as stated.. None of this has anything to do with Trim level.

The flank badging has nothing to do with the motor output, so pretty much everything colonelpurple said here is wrong.

If you have the 45kWh battery (which is only available with the 145PS motor) then it will read "Pure". There are multiple pictures on Autotrader of this being the case.

You'll have one of these 3 flank badges for anything that isn't a 1st Edition :-

“Pure” - 45kWh
“Pro” - 58kWh
“Pro S” - 77kWh

The motor output has nothing to do with it. A 45kWh Life will have "Pure", whereas a 58kWh Life will have "Pro". I've never seen a blank flank badge either in the metal or in pictures.

My cousin just got Family pro not perfromance same colour as mine moonstone grey, mine is business pro perf ,

Both cars are identical apart from the sunroof, you wouldnt be able to tell what a pro v pro performance based on looks alone.

A quick way to be sure what spec your is just use the reg check on gov.uk to see the stated 0-60 spec is.

Seems VW didn't care much to make the performance variants stand out probably because the pro versions could technically be upgraded to perf via software upgrade i guess in future who knows

The 45kWh battery is actually only available with the 150PS motor. It fits between the performance figures for the 58kWh Pro and the Pro Performance.

It's the Cayman of the ID3 :D

Few of us have little else to talk about whilst our pensions compete to arrive sooner than our ID3s.

(and I'm not even in my 40s yet! :D )

You don’t think your pension will be enough to run an ID3 and pay your energy bill do you?

For awareness, as a local VW dealer was getting to the wrong conclusions by looking at the numbers incorrectly.

The iD3 Pro has 150PS or 110 kW
The iD3 Pro performance has 204PS or 150 kW

Make sure you get the correct unit without which it can get quiet confusing. E.g as my local dealer was saying that the 150 model is the low performance version. Without the unit it could be either.
