I wouldn't read too much into it. The ID.3 configurator was comprehensively broken and they've probably just pulled the links to the ID.3 so they can fix them.

If they mentioned changes apply to orders placed from Dec 1st then the chances are they aren’t going to update the configurator or brochure until 30th November. There’s no point in updating it now and causing further confusion with “these changes only apply to orders from 1st December”

This is an excellent point re the dates! However I don't think we're getting a brochure in the UK at all now, for any VW model, as the brochure download links for all models basically say they're being deprecated in favour of the configurator.

Now that drive the deal and carwow have the new settings, it seems that area view has gone. It seemed to appear for my order (end of September) and I've seen a single person on Reddit say they have it.
Now it seems to have gone back to being rear view camera only on assistance plus.

Looks like the configuration is back up and you can see the interior upholstery and dash changes. Not sure what other charges have been made

Much prefer the look of those seats. Assume the darker material is vegan leather, and the lighter is art velours/alcantara.

I would expect the text and details like colours to be updated next week once the ordering for the MY22.5 goes lives.

Looks like the gloss black plastic is gone and now a matt vegan leather type finish? Looks good. Also looks like extending thigh supports aren't drawn in on configurator....but then the seat back is also missing so perhaps an early version.

Don't think you have anything to worry about in that regards. Other than there might be a MY23 update between now and when the car is built if things get pushed back further.

Is it just me or is the standard spec stripped back? Even on the Max, there’s no mention of Travel Assist, Side Assist or electric/ massage seats.

There isn't an internal style or driver assistance pack on the life, at present. I doubt that would be the final state.
