If v3.0 of the software is available when the car is built why would they not include it no matter when the car was ordered. Build dates seem to be jumping around a lot (see Utumno's really useful spreadhseet) but I think it is likely you will get some of them depending on when your order was placed if you don't have a build date yet. Those ordered after Dec 1st 2021 are full monty MY22.5 but, those ordered before December 1st but with a build date after week 51 will only get some new features like the new interior (depending on spec ordered). As the build dates are jumping around if you are close to week 51 I do wonder what you will actually get and it could go either way. I am in this boat. Not clear of my build date yet but ordered in August 2021 so could be week 48/49/50 MY22 build date or could be a January 2022 build date with MY22.5. I have stopped worrying about it as it is out of my control!
I ordered on 9th October and I'm at status 20 (so car not yet built). I'm hoping I get the updated interior (I think it looks better). I would think you are pretty safe with an October order date.
