hi all i’m new here and have just ordered my id3, can someone tell me weather i can pre heat the car by using the wall charging point so it uses the house supply rather than the id3 batteries? tia

The cabin yes, you can do it through the app.
The battery will get a little heat while charging so will get up to temperature quicker when driving

The heating is powered by the batteries. When you are plugged in the batteries still power the heaters but are in turn recharged by the 7kW charger providing you are not outside of a timed charging window that you have set up.

thank you, can you set a time up for the heater to come on or do you have to go out and do it manually?

I always just use the app, from inside the house!, 10 or 15 mins before I’m ready to set off
