The update looks underwhelming, especially in terms of improved responsiveness and boot up time.
I think we are reaching the conclusion that some hardware re the infotainment is just underpowered.
The fact this 3.0 seems buggy is both disappointing but unsurprising of VW.
ID3 1st Edition in glacier white. Wallbox charger. Octopus Go when the smart meter works (not often).

Yup. He also mentions closing the doors sounds better. Must be the new door cards?

Each to their own I guess, those second or third time I have seen them and those 70's vinyl seats look hideous.

Would it be tied to the new seats or could it be part of 3.0?

EDIT: OK, pretty much confirmed to be an MY 22.5 change. If you go to the ID3 manual page you can see 2 manuals. 1 is dated June 2021 and the other is dated November 2021. The first manual makes no mention of memory seats but the second one does.
16 Sep: ID3 Max in Moonstone Grey. BW 40 confirmed. ETA early Dec.
2 Dec: left factory. ETA mid Jan.
20 Dec: factory waiting for parts. ETA early Feb.
7 Jan: factory, ETA mid Feb.
3 Feb: factory, ETA mid March.
27 April: at port. ETA end of May.
