I'm really like the look of the 20" sanya alloy on the ID3 but wondered what the ride was like versus the Andoya 19" rim.
The Sanya wasn't an option on the Life Pro Perf when I got my car but I have seen quite a few sources for sanya wheels from Germany for around £1,000 Inc postage. I like my Continentals on the Andoyas and would hopefully find a 20" version for the wheel other than Bridgestone.
I would sell my Andoyas that are unmarked to help fund the change.

I have these wheels and the ride is fine. My car shipped with Contis.

£1000 a set or £1000 each? I presume it's the latter, given the £1800ish list price over and above the cost of the standard steel wheels.

It's a set of 4 without tyres. The sellers quote a VW part No 10A601025B, new not used. I suspect they may be unbranded. I'm not going to let that put me off at the moment and dig a little deeper.
I don't want to lose a lot of ride quality.
I drove my Z4 e89 on run-flat Bridgestones for 4 years and the ride was horrendous before changing to Goodyear Assymetric non-runflats.
So my first thought regarding a change is whether the ride quality is acceptable.

The Sanyas still have 45 section tyres, so quite chunky compared to what most 20” rims would have.

Thanks Andrew. That's useful. Mine are 215x50 so not a huge difference. The Z4 rear are 30s.

Yep, 30 is thin! I’ve got 35 on my Porsche and I don’t think I’d want to go less than that. Of course damping quality has a lot to do with ride comfort, but there’s no substitute for sidewall!
