Sorry to ruin anyone's parade, but this truly is an awful car :-
Apple Car Play randomly disconnects
Wireless charging sometimes/sometimes not decides to charge
The Voice control takes about 30- seconds to understand a command, then another 30 seconds to act upon it.
The car is going in for warranty work- ( leak from underneath the car and the carpet cant dry out and has gone mouldy
Do you think anyone of the other issues above can be addressed or is it just the car..?
So much wrong with this car - Now mould on carpet
The dealership has no control over software issues.
That said, which version are you running? Because v3.0 should be more responsive, but if you're on v2.3 then the dealership will need to update your 12V battery and do the update to v2.4 so that you can receive v3.0.

It is a generally very good car.
I turned off voice control about a year ago because it was annoyingly hopeless.
Ive never had a problem with Apple CarPlay under 2.1 or 2.3.
I’ve never heard of leaks before, the hardware engineering is usually excellent.
Sounds like you got a wrong un.

Kia Niro EV3 in pearl white.
I’ve heard of issues with the AC drain pipe on the id4 making the carpet wet - so might be worth letting the garage know about mine. As the others have said - voice control isn’t something I’ve used (apart from Siri - a long press on the button) and car play is great for me. Wireless charging needs fairly careful alignment with your phone…. Works all the time on mine iPhone12 but not on my oartners 8.
Hope it hasn’t been sitting in a German field waiting for parts.OB1CCFC wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 12:57 pm It is a generally very good car.
