When my daughter bought her id.3 she installed a Zappi charger and now that we have had some sunny days she has been using the Eco++ settings on the charger and it automatically uses excess solar power from her panels which power the house, then charge the solar batteries, then the car if it is plugged in rather than export the excess. She also has the charger linked through Octopus Go. She works from home so having the car plugged in during sunny days is very easy.

I've had an Ohme Pro for a couple of years but wish now that I'd spent the extra £150 to get the Zappi. We are retired so could certainly take full advantage of excess solar charging during the day.

Anyone know if Ohme plan to add this excess solar feature?
