ID3 not Syncing with Application

Hi all,

I noticed since last night that my car is not syncing with the ID3 app - like the mileage/battery level etc.

I called support and they said all users are affected - is anyone else experiencing the same?

I am. Currently driving in France and I thought it might be related to that. My last synch was on evening of 28th.

Seemed to be offline most of Wednesday although came back to life at 7pm. Working as normal this morning.

Same here, not syncing yesterday, back to normal today.

Mine also started working OK yesterday. Interestingly the trips on Tronity also stopped during that time, but all updated when connection restored. (Tbh I wish the app had that BASIC functionality and didn't need to rely on 3rd party)

Mine still isn’t syncing. I can’t see range on the app. It’s just greyed out.

I’m not sure what’s up. Everything else is working - remote air con, battery charge level - just nothing reading into the range window on the app.

It’s annoying as I do often check it’s charging at 7kwh and I can’t do that without the range window working.

mine went yesterday - at least that is when I looked at it- still not working today- rest of app seems ok

I called support about the same issue. They told me that it is a problem with my specific car (HOW?) and that I need to book it in to my dealer. They also told me that they cannot tell me what the issue is.. they can only tell the dealer directly. I am sick of VW customer care. its pathetic

You have to have we connect plus AND we connect - then it works again

Mine also gone this morning (third time in the last few weeks), state of charge box has dissappeared. Will take route one for now, and do nothing for 24 hours, see if it returns.

Yes, I am and have done since the latest car software "upgrade" on May 9, 2024. I can no longer, for all intents and purposes, access my car remotely any more. It really is a poor show and I'd always expected better from VW.
