Hi,
got my ID3 Pro Match S last week, now trying to get used to the infotainment etc.

So I'm registered as the Primary user, I've installed Spotify from the shop, I get all my playlists etc. All very useful. My other half is registered as another user and gets her - very different - playlists when she is logged in. That's excellent.

However if I'm not the logged in user I lose sight of the battery charge % & can't set a departure time. Is that really the way it is or have I missed something? It seems VW have really not thought this through. Tell me they have.......

TIA

It's as intended. Users not logged in get very little information. The only good solution is to ignore the profiles and everyone use the same one. You can log in from multiple devices so it doesn't really cause any problems. Gives everyone full functionality.
ID.3 Family Pro Performance (Jan 22). Also an ID.4 Max. Ohme Home Pro charger.

All about data protection I imagine. I believe this why you now also have to select a user and can’t have it login automatically like you used to be able to.
