Business Pro Performance Puddle Lights

Trying to clarify my understanding of which models of ID3 have puddle lights! (Brochure doesn't help) We viewed a 2020 business that didn't have them as far as we could tell, despite seeing online that all ID3s have them so I was surprised? It has lots more on the car regards extras that from the brochure you wouldn't think was available!

I think it may be down to the packs? As it has Comfort but not Comfort Plus? Seeing the car again next week so will check again on the screen settings. Dealer has said it doesn't have them but I'm curious! We will still buy without but it's bugging me to know

Assistance
Design
Infotainment
Comfort
NCAP

I will also be checking the mirrors, as I know they are powered/adjustable but not sure if they fold or not as forgot to check that!

[Update] we have the car now and can confirm it DOES have the puddle lights after all.

I thought all ID3s in the UK had puddle lights. You can only really see them in the dark.
They do sometimes fail and the image "shatters" - lots of people get them fixed but perhaps if it happened out of warranty someone just wouldn't bother.

We have seen the shattered lights on another we viewed closer to home and we actually thought it looked rather cool... we only found out later it was supposed to be a recognisable shape in there so it was pretty well gone. We actually preffer it shattered!! :> Nighttime test needed i think and a look in the settings.

All images online seem to show the light patch on the floor, not where it comes from in the mirror, so wasnt sure what to look for and with the VW sales team saying it doesnt have them... :>

Mine are shattered - they were like it when I got the car second hand from the dealer. They still work. I assume they were supposed to be like that lol

My ID3, A ‘21 plate Tech spec, has puddle lights. Also shattered, and getting more so unfortunately.

Yes, mine are getting worse and worse. Is it something that should be repaired under warranty?

Yes. Definitely the new car warranty anyway.
