Good read from a seemingly non-biased point of view, simply focussed on the driving machine.

You can get a.fun, chuckable ICE hot hatch for reasonable money, you can't get a high performing EV for anywhere near the same amount.

All cars are getting more boring as they get safer, more sophisticated and more refined - even though they're getting faster.

My Golf R was pretty quick for (relatively) sensible money, but it was pretty sterile to drive lawfully on the roads. 6 seconds hard acceleration from a standstill and you're at the motorway speed limit. My old Peugeot 205 GTI was much more fun, and much less powerful.
Cupra Born V2 e-boost 230ps Aurora Blue, replaced ID3 PP Family

Audi S3 - because I hate rapid charging for long distance driving.

Seems to be rather focused on Acceleration as most American/EV enthusiasts are...

I love this bit of the article "It’s a bit unfair to compare the handling of the E-Tron GT with that of the 911, since the two vehicles are in different classes." - why? You compared them in Acceleration and enthused about the EV.. but oh wait it won't win the handling argument so let's not go there.
