We just got back from a trip to Linköping, Sweden and did notice some things that need improving in the navigation system. We compare to Google Maps and also our old, 15+ years, TomTom

The Good:
Status of traffic jams and such. Very neat. It also took us to a charging stop when we ran on low battery, because the charger where we had planned to charge was faulty.

The Bad:
It does help to be in the right lane when exiting the freeway or when the freeway forks. The old TomTom was excellent in this respect. The ID.3 navigation not so. Sometimes there was an indicator in the right hand panel behind the wheel, but often incorrect. The old TomTom would present an image of the sign above with arrows indicating what lane to take.

The Ugly:
When driving from "Lunnevads folkhögskola" to Mjölby it sent us completely wrong. Had us turn right into an unpaved road and then after 2km suggested continuing on something that was more suited to a forestry machine. We had to take a U-turn and use Google maps on our cellphones. The old TomTom had a selection where you could set it to ignore unpaved roads. Such a setting would be nice to have here as well.

Ours sometimes shows us to turn, say, left on the screen but tells us to do the opposite!!
