Delivery time

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking for a while too. Can you add my details to the tracker please. Order number 31364XXX

Ordered ID.3 Style 45kWh Pure performance on 5th July with added heat pump. Originally told September 2021 delivery, then it changed to build week 42 so built in October and delivery in late Nov/ early December. When December arrived, I was told it was now going to be build week 1 of 2022 so first week of January and Feb delivery. Called for an update today and apparently its still at Status 20 due to chip shortage and they don't know how long its going to be stuck at this stage waiting for micro chips. Getting more and more disheartened as time goes on. I noticed that they have discontinued the Style completely now so I was quite concerned that they've just discontinued my car and haven't got the guts to tell me. Hardly any faith left at this rate. Had a Hypervolt charger installed in August last year ready for my September delivery, in hindsight very premature.

Just had a call out of the blue to say my car is ready for collection. I can't quite believe it.
Family pro performance East Derry alloys ordered 10th July. Last update early January was in quality control expected delivery by end of February. Good luck everyone.

Order placed 16/11/2021
Order No. Confirmed 21/11/2021 (No. 3155xxx) - told 6 months on delivery but finding that increasingly unlikely (had a friend test drive an ID.3 on Saturday and they’re still quoting the same six months

No confirmed build week as yet

Agree none of this engenders any faith. The “chip shortage” certainly doesn’t appear to be affecting Family trims quite as badly as other trims!

I'm selfishly hoping your theory is right! Patiently waiting for a family pro, ordered mid / end July and no updates from my dealer unless prompted. I spoke to them first week of January and they couldn't tell me much, said they would contact me when the system was back online and they could give me more information. Sitting on my hands in the naive notion that they may actually contact me without being chased

I'll keep my fingers crossed you get word soon as it must be awful to see all the later orders being delivered before yours.

I have been following this page for the past week now. I ordered my ID.3 life pro on 7th of July from Alan Day Southgate (London) with estimation arrival date 10th of December and I was informed by my dealer that it could potentially delay due to global semi-conductor shortage. Compared to others, my dealership has been been quite good at relaying information. I was notified initially in October that my order got delayed till March/April. Last week, I received a call to say that its scheduled build week is week 14 but considering how it keeps on changing I don’t want to keep my hopes up.

My dealership also mentioned that production of new cars has increased since October so it might change.

Ordered my car in November and got the first information (VW order number, status, projected build date) from my dealer two weeks ago. Projected build date was wk24. Just got my second update this morning and the projected build date is now wk34 so it has moved out 10 weeks in the space of 2 weeks!

Thanks ! I think that's the first confirmed MY22.5 vehicle screenshot we've seen - very interesting! Tracker has been updated.

"MY=22, Version=2" is clearly MY22.5, and you have a different "Interior Trim" code to the screenshot for my Tour, which shows "MY=22, Version=1"

I suppose that’s the only good think about having to wait. I do expect it to keep getting pushed out further, I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t here by Xmas if I’m honest lol.

No sign of promised car. Dealler saying it's now been at the UK port for 2 weeks, which is very unusual.

He hasnt mentioned the codes before but it looks like he jumped the gun when he said it was on it's way to them. Still at code 40.
