Delivery time

I might be dreaming, because I just landed myself a deal on Max Pro Performance which is due in April/May. Yet to get details, but sensing this is from a cancelled order as the pricing seems to be including government grant for which Max stopped being eligible long back.

Will update here once my dealer gives me more details so that we can have them in the spreadsheet..

My previous order for a Family Pro from December is still in la la land with no build week assigned.

I manage the fleet at work so have a fairly good idea on what's arriving and what's not. We've got a VW Tiguan Elegance TDI on order since Sept 2021 (order number 3150****) and that's been pushed back to an estimated ETA of November 2022 now!

Are they made in the same factory?

Tried for a Kona ev ultimate trim.
Sales manager emailed to say they expecting one in March.
I called and spoke to motability salesman who confirmed it was available. I asked if the could hold for me whilst popped to local dealer to make sure I still liked car.

He rung me to see if I had been. I said yes and I would like car and that I would call back to sort order when home.

Called back later to be told sales manager had given it to somebody applying through finance.

Guess they make more money on that sale rather than motability.

Sales guy apologised for not checking with sales manager that car was available.
I told him not to apologise for his boss ,as the initial email was from him. Like I said just felt mugged off. Great being a second class citizen.

ID.3s are not made in the same factory I don't believe

ID.3s are not made in the same factory I don't believe

Thanks! Puts my mind at rest a little bit?

I'm hopeful of a summer delivery of my ID3 but who knows

Is it possible that vw could build backlog max's and tour's in Dresden to free up zwickau?

The Tiguan is built at the Wolfsburg plant and the Tiguan Alspace is built in Mexico

The ID3 I ordered a couple of weeks ago seems to have been built. I am currently waiting for it to be released from the factory. I wonder how long that will take?

I’ve been told it should at he dealer in April!

The Max Pro Performance I ordered via Vanarama in October has been pushed back to August (maybe) today. Getting annoyed!

Given VW have a backlog of 500k orders and only 90k of those are ID's I doubt they will be trying to build them elsewhere.. but then I was applying logic so who knows?

I take people at their word. I think the dealer chose the money. Which dont get me wrong I don't have a problem with. But don't agree to hold car if have no intention of doing so.
I came second to the money yesterday, left a bad taste.

But off topic since only connected to this thread by frustration at waiting times and getting an ev.

I had a similar thing last year but it was more of a lack of salespeople talking I had a deal on a showroom ID3 and I said yes to find out it was sold 3 days before and the person I spoke to wasn’t told!!
