All vehicles with a build week in 2022 should be MY22.5.

Keep us updated Rags! my car was the same build week as yours (family pro performance) and the dealer is adamant that its a MY 22 but even the VIN has build date of 2022 so I cant believe it would be a 22. It came into the UK Friday, will be with the dealer on the Monday next week and pickup TBC.

Can anyone tell me if the dealer is incorrect? ive asked twice and the cars in the UK now, just hope theyre not pulling any dodgy shit and keeping my car and giving me an older one. But then again I do have my VIN and numberplate already.

Also rags you should ask the dealer for a picture of the side of the car, if its got side sensors its 22.5

Sorry I should have replied to this earlier. My car has the side sensors. I posted earlier about the my car coming with the updated interior as well as software 3.0.

The changes to the MY23 configuration is currently unknown but will probably be announced in October or so.

I think the document is in this thread somewhere, its just a renaming of a black paint for the id3. I don't doubt that there will be a 23.5 too. My dealer confirmed it is just a colour name change.

There's no need to update the car given the lead times stretching effectively into infinity.

For those interested, How Many Left has updated their data to include Q4 2021 registrations. Here's the tl;dr figures for new registrations by UK model in Q4 2021 that I quickly worked out (E&OE, naturally)

Life - 1396 vehicles registered
Style - 56 vehicles registered
Family - 828 vehicles registered
Max - 57 vehicles registered
Tour - 183 vehicles registered

Max owners, you can rejoice knowing that your cars are remarkably rare, rarer even than Tours !

Apparently yes, if you have your order number you can check at another dealership.

Do not quote me on this but I think it has to be another dealer within the same franchise/group.
This is what I was told by my dealer.

Yup this makes sense. Remember VW runs a franchise system so VW dealers between different franchises won’t be able to see each other’s orders, as that information would be company-confidential.

I've been lurking, following this thread for what seems like ages now. I've a Family Pro performance on order since 09/09/2021 order number 31477xxx, would it be possible to get added to the sheet please. My dealer updated me a few weeks ago, with no build date. He did say he thinks VW were having a nightmare with the pano roof and matrix lights. I'll be very surprised if I see this in 2022.

I'm at the stage where I might order another car and sell the ID at delivery if I'm sure I can get a bit more for it than I paid.

Still no build week, wondering if lease orders put to the back! If goes longer 12 months and lose the grant then will need to seriously reconsider although on NHS fleet there are a number of models now unavailable. Not just id3 and 4 but also ioniqu 5 and some of the Kona trims. The choice is rapidly disappearing!
One day hopefully will get the car!

I think I've heard every single part of the car has been blamed by dealers for delays at this point. I'm sure someone told them that but I'm not sure I believe it's anything more than speculation at this point.

I expect you're right. He did say they've had several in for the roof repairs and the ICE models with big delays are those with matrix lights.

I think I've got a good deal, so I'm going to take delivery but I'm really stuck on if I should just order a polestar now.

Yes I received mine last week. Its 22.5 with v3.0. It has auto parking (which isn't as good as say the BMW system according to my son) but it doesn’t have 360 degree camera I don't think? Has a reversing one only.

I don't have either, but I'm fairly sure you now get automated parking in the assistance pack (which the Family has) but memory parking and a 360 camera (maybe?) are part of the assistance pack plus, which the Family doesn't have.
