Type 2 connector cover

My recently delivered car has no cover for the type 2 connector, is this correct? I'm sure the hire car I had last year had one.

No type 2 cover, just a thing you pull in/out of the DC plugs for CCS. Same on all ID3s.

Unless you mean the Type 2 cable that's supplied - there should be a cover on one of the ends.

Thanks both, was the connector at charge port I was referring to. All the EV reviews I've watched on YouTube have merged into one it seems, confusing me 😁

There is no cover on the car charging port for the type 2. There is for the CCS extension under the type 2, but the main type 2 has no cover as the door is sealed to prevent water, etc getting in.
