Hopefully they will finally get these and the max models to people that have been posting here all the time I’ve been .

Our ID3 Life ordered in February 22 has been built and it is still in Emden port waiting for the boat since the 6th of January. Build week 51.
Anyone picking up their built week 49/51 soon. I wonder when we will get ours in Ireland??

From what I could find the two boats that feed Ireland are the Patara and Parana. The Parana was last to leave Emden on the 13th, has been to Dublin and is now on route to Spain. The Patara is currently leaving Portugal on its way back to Emden. Hopefully you’ll make it onto the next departing ship.
I’m in the same boat (or not), was about to cancel when the build confirmation came through. It’s now awaiting a spot on the ship.
It really is great to see more and more posts about VW cars actually being manufactured and delivered.
For so long this thread was a depressing place to come and read.
Congratulations to all those long standing and even longer waiting VW order customers, who finally have something to post of good news.
Now if only we can solve world famine and state aggression in all forms, that would be something else to celebrate for sure.
In the mean time, I am assured by my VW dealership that my order (finalised on the 1st Nov 2021) has actually moved to status 20 for the last week of February 2023. Not sure if the spreadsheet is still being maintained but an update can finally be made for my requisite order entry.
Of course, been here before.
And the dealership did warn me that currently only 80% of status 20 build-week targets are being met.
Happy thoughts….. fingers crossed etc.

My car sat at status 38 in the port of Emden for 8-9 weeks before finally getting on a boat the week before last.
I keep looking at same spec ID3 ads on auto trader to remind myself why I ordered the car. Its been so long I can barely remember the test drive now

Pablo, My Cupra Born was also built on wk 51 and is destined for Ireland also. Per the dealer system it was moved to port on Jan 10 awaiting a ship and loading. Checking in with my dealer since the status on his system hasn't changed- apparently the car could be loaded on a ship by now but it won't leave port until it it has a full load of cars? I see from SimmoUK's comment that the car can sit at the port for a long time awaiting a ship. Can anyone shed more light on the shipping process and likely lead times. I'm guessing- maybe wrongly- that there should be a reasonably steady throughput of cars from Zwichau or am I thinking too positively about the chip supply situation! This in general might help to fill ships faster and improve shipment times? Again can someone enlighten us on how many cars these ships might typically hold?

I actually feel sorry for the dealerships with the lack of info from VW. They also have no idea if they'll concentrate on old orders before the facelift. I would like to think they would but who knows.

Same with my dealership, they have no answers because of the lack of info from VW. It must be a nightmare for them.
