Delivery time

How does that work?! My week 8 build Tour I was told today by VWUK customer service, is still being built :/ and they don’t know how long it will be.

Mine is bog standard. have you a heat pump or different wheels? My colour has been changed from stonewash blue to "you can have any colour you like as long as it is scale silver"

Bog standard without heat pump and yes it was originally stonewashed blue too… It was an existing order the dealer placed back in July 21, that I took on aug 28th. So was told “don’t change anything or you’ll move out of the dec 21 delivery window” lol

Doesn't fill me with hope, mine has heat pump and DCC sports pack option. Though its not Sonewashed Blue so maybe that will speed things up?

I remember being amazed when you posted before that you had the DCC sports pack option as that never seemed to be an option for the Tour when I looked. It will be interesting to see what spec does finally arrive. Good luck!

I too am intrigued about this, Sport pack was available for Tour but not Sport Pack Plus with DCC, I suspect yet another dealer will be having to make compensations soon.

I daren't say it too loudly, but my car has moved to status "Released From Factory" and I have a VIN and Registration number! It finally exists!

Family Pro Performance bog standard car nothing added, ordered November 2021 and told at the end of January that I had been assigned a Wk8 build. Hadn't been able to get an update from VWCS until today when I was told my car was status 40 arrived in UK and awaiting clearance from port. It's a lease car and the supplying dealer is VW Listers Stratford, who I think are absolutely terrible. They wouldn't supply a screenshot of the order and when I asked about changing to a salary sacrifice lease deal the leasing company said yes but the dealer refused to change the car grant. Amazingly when I contacted DVLA they were quick to respond and said it wasn't a problem as long as I remained the driver. I would have hoped that after a 16 month wait the dealer would have been more helpful.

Hope others start to see their 2022 orders coming through, it's been a long wait and I'm not even excited to learn my car is in the UK.

Bad news for my week 3 Family pro build: The dealership has advised that due to supply constraints your car is awaiting extra components before it completes build, at present the car is still showing as status 20 until the build has been completed.

Presumably this means it's sitting half built in a field somewhere.

So not getting it any time soon

Doh. I guess my tour from week 8 has company then…

Anyone else waiting for news stuck in status 20 land?

This is exactly what happened at the end of 2021 with the run of tours that lead to utumno creating the tracker. Mine is supposed to be in build at the moment, but i needent get too exited if its headed for a "part built field" like that run did.

I was so looking forward to finally seeing someone get a tour too, I really had hope this time

I’ve seen dealer screen for my car and it’s locked 20 but there is a max showing 38 so it was awaiting shipping, that was last week.

Finally I have got so fed up waiting I've decided to have a look through these posts, I'm horrified but also reassured it's not only us that are having delivery issues.
We've ordered an id3 Tour Pro S back in mid August 21, a few weeks back finally got a confirmed build week 9.
Finally we are getting somewhere!! Dealer stated delivery to be early to mid April.
Yesterday day received an email from VW stating further delays, our sales person seems unable to return my calls but another cocky guy says dealer is unaware & unable to give answers, but if we was given week 9 it SHOULD of been built by now!!
This is really testing my patience now

Have had 2 emails from VW since week 9, to say sorry but problems with semi conductors.
