I am having an intermittent smart charging problem. I had a Rolec ev Homesmart box installed 2 years ago that with the ev energy app used to charge the id3 First Edition at night (00:30 to 04:30) on the Octopus Go tariff without any problems. Now some nights it smart charges and other nights it doesn't. The app connects to ev energy fine and switches the charger between different modes. Unmanaged the car charges and it charges fine with other chargers and so I don't think it is a problem with the car (software version 2.4), the cable or the charger. I checked the earth connection to the earth rod and remade it, so it is good.
So far no response from the ev energy "senior customer success advocate" other than to ask for the dates the problem occurs. Dates sent but no reply so far.
Anybody experiencing similar problems and any suggestions as to what the problem might be? I know these intermittent problems are notoriously difficult to solve but all help welcome.
