Finally the elusive max is in my possession.
I have plenty to get used to but this morning I just found out the front seats extend under your thighs and brings it to behind the knees. Very comfortable and something I never knew existed.
Brilliant to see, enjoy mate.

The extending thigh support is the reason I went for the max.

Great news!

I haven't found that yet, I must explore further!
If you're sitting in the seat, put your hand at the front of the seat between your legs and you'll feel a lever of sorts..i was like what does this do and that's when I discovered its purpose haha
Excellent, thanks. I'm quite short so it might not end up being useful but I'll try it out. :)
Haha you never know.

I find it comfortable when extended. I honestly never knew it was a thing. A pleasant surprise.

Picked our Max up today. Really pleased with it. It's so long since we test drove it that I'd forgotten how great it was to drive.

Hope everyone whose waiting gets theirs soon.

Been quite lucky.

Sold my iD.3 Tour 8 months ago, which I put 20,000 miles on, and sold it to Webuyanycar for more than I paid for it. Went back to ICE for a while, and regretted it, and started looking for another iD.3 Tour 2 week ago.

I managed to find a dealer, that was expecting delivery from the port of a Tour, in Kings Red, with a Heat Pump, which arrived to them Wednesday, and I picked it up yesterday. Paid just under £40k for it

Considering how much the new ones spec'd up are, I was happy with that.

I am pleased with the minor changes in this Tour compared to the one I had. The seats are nicer, fully electric now, and luckily with 3.2 on it already.

Having waited over 20 months I was due to pick up my Tour on Saturday; However Motability computers were down at the weekend and ended up having to collect on Friday Morning which was a bit inconvenient. I tried to put off until Tuesday but the dealer was insistent! Oh the feckin irony. The seats are better than I recall but I just wish there was a printed manual rather than the online HTML one. I was given a courtesy E Corsa over xmas and teh range was shite but I am so glad I went for the tour as I do not feel that I will have to be plugging in whenever I return home. Hope all waiting get theirs soon. As a coincidence somebody in a nearby village has also just got a Tour and although we dont know each other yet we have connected over facebook and will do so soon!

Still waiting for my week 9 build. Its in the UK apparently and delivery will take 3 weeks. 😵‍💫

On a separate note after a short holiday in Norway ive realised where all the VW EVs are... id3, id4, id5 galore! Norway is an EV playground so it seems.

3 Weeks from the port to the dealer? That seems a bit excessive. Mine got to the UK on Thursday and should be at the dealers tomorrow. Arranged to pick it up at 2pm on Friday. Do you live in Shetland or a remote location?

I think 2-3 weeks is fairly common. It can sit in the port for a bit. The dealer often don't find a slot to do the pdi for a few days after it gets to them and then there needs to be a convenient handover time arranged. Certainly took three weeks for ours in Liverpool.

Max collected last Friday, have a license expired error for SOS but otherwise it’s all good.

This is the fifth ID3 since 2020 and prob the last one, can now commute by bike so the ID4 is being cancelled and replaced by an ICE.

Yeah, but at the moment they are sitting in Emden for 6 weeks (mine did) because there arnt enough ships. So there really can't be that big a queue on the UK side.

I have exactly the same licence expired message on my new Tour. I have logged it with weconnect support, but nothing seems effected, only this warning message

My Family Pro was meant to be at the dealership 27th April and has just been pushed back to 12th May, stuck at status 20 Port of Exit in Emden.

Looks lke VW have screwed up again by not bidding enough for shipping places causing delays:
