This has happened on many occasions now and has caught me out a few times, it could cause a T Bone accident. I roll up to a T junction, say to join a major road from a minor road for instance - look left/right and decide I can get out into the flow of traffic and push throttle to go, the car just rolls out and doesnt react for a second or 2. I'm not flooring it, nothing likely to attempt to generate wheelspin, but yes - with a little more urgency than a regular pull out. Its as if the traction control has kicked in. Anyone else noticed this? Its possible the car is not at a complete standstill when I've detected this, maybe it is - when its happened though, its always when I could do without it...

Never happened to me. I’d book it in to get checked out as sounds pretty dangerous.

Have you got any warnings coming up? It couldn't be the assist system kicking in somehow? I've never had that myself.

Nope, in fact I've found this car to be great pulling into traffic. I've had to retrain myself to take advantage of smaller gaps!

Not experienced this. There are a few junctions around my area that call for a speedy exit and the car handles them really well.

Mmm - I've done loads of experiments doing this since I posted it the other day and every time its off like a scolded cat - No-one else seems to have experienced it either. I'll monitor it and try and tie down exactly what the circumstances are when and if it does it again. Thanks for all the replies
