Delivery time

To anybody who's just got their new cars, how many years WeConnect subscription did you get? And did it say that many years when registering the car on there?
I'm expecting three years, but the app is saying two.

Thanks for the response. VW got back to me;

"In order to meet legal requirements for the maximum term of such contracts, it was necessary to limit the initial term for the We Connect and We Connect Plus service packages to an initial period of 24 months.

This will not put you at a disadvantage. At the end of the term, you will have the option of extending We Connect for further periods and We Connect Plus for a further 12 months free of charge. We will contact you separately for this purpose."

Obviously keeping that e-mail very safe.

We had an email from the dealer on Wednesday saying the following:

"Gavin & Emma,

Looking at our delivery portal. It looks like your new ID3 is scheduled to arrive with us on the 28th June.

As soon as it is here, we will make arrangements for handover.

Nearly there now. See you soon!

Kind regards"

It seems like we can finally believe we are going to get it very soon

Finally got my email today saying car is in the UK and the dealer will be in touch when it’s ready to pick up.

This is a tour order from Aug 21….

So whoever’s waiting, not long now!

Pretty sure I know the answer to this but now I have the VW app and an account to the point of being able to add a car, I presume I can’t add it prior to taking delivery, I have the vin but would imagine that something needs doing within the car as well for security.

Wait until you get the car and you can link the two via a QR code in the infotainment screen. If you are collecting from a dealer, do this before you leave so that you can ask for help if necessary.

Thanks, no it’s being delivered so will likely have to manage with learning myself as I doubt the driver will be all that interested or particularly care!

Wasn’t sure where to ask this so may need to look elsewhere but has anyone bought any back seat protectors for a tour at all, I’ll have two child isofix child seats in pretty much permanently and want to a) protect the seat from indents etc as much as possible and b) protect the creamy looking area as much as possible from spills of food mostly!

It's got holes for isofix and it's well priced.
I got another one before which didn't have isofix holes, so just need to be aware of that.
