Hi guys,

I know these aren’t supported by VW but wondered if anyone had used some of the third party ones? I have a few bigger family drives coming up and wanted some extra space for light gear on the roof.

My main concern is wear and tear - I’m on a salary sacrifice loan car.

There’s a couple of old threads on here about it - Search will pick them up.

If you want to buy some - mine seem to be gathering dust. Manchester based.

I have these ..

... and have used them a few times to transport my canoe.

They spread the load, are easy to install & remove and are non-specific w.r.t car make/model.
They also pack away into a small bag when not in use.
