Heated Steering Wheel

Can anyone Explain why Every time I get into my ID3 the heated steering wheel is on. Even though I have switched all the settings to off.

I think it's down to the outside temperature.

Do You know of a way to Disable it as it causes problems with my pace maker

There is an option called "zones in the app". There is also a setting in the car. When the climate screen is on, there is a settings cog near the top somewhere (you might need to hover your hand near the screen). This has a heated wheel option in it.
If you turn off the heated wheel option via the climate menu in the car, AND turn off the zones function in the app, then it shouldn't come on any more.

Also out of curiosity, how does it affect your pacemaker? Is it the heat on your hands or something?

Oddly enough i would like the exact opposite, is there a way to ensure its always on? preferably level 2, I have raynaulds

If you turn both those functions on, I think it will be on whenever the temperature is below 12C but not otherwise. Only the work of a few seconds to turn it on. I also like it on almost all the time.

If you open the climate control panel in the car, then tap on the settings icon, you can select what you want the heated seats and steering wheel to do, I have my heated seat come on low and steering wheel on medium.
