Just got an ID3 (2021 Family model) and absolutely loving it but I'm having a very frustrating issue with Octopus IO and the Hypervolt charger I had installed a month ago. The first few times I charged it worked flawlessly but since then, every now and again, I wake up to find the car has failed to charge or worse has sailed past the 80% charge I asked for and charged to 100% (I have now reduced the max charge in the car to prevent this one). The issue seems to be Octopus losing communication with the car so it fails to either start the charge or stop the charge and I get an error message from the Octopus app saying "Unable to control your device". It never fails to recognise that I've plugged the car in and always sets a charging schedule.
Has anyone had this issue and found a solution?

Well I've given up for now and connected to the charger rather than the car which worked last night at least. Not as neat as connecting to the car but hey ho.
Incidentally, is there any way to set the target charge level to anything other than multiples of 10 within the car's software or the VW app? On the Octopus app you could charge to whatever whole number you liked, not sure why you can't do that in the car.
