Mainly torn between the 58kWh Pro and the 58kWh Pro Performance.
What's the general opinion on this?

From the POV of your topic heading.. 58kWh pro and 58kWh Pro Performance have the same battery it is the power output from the motor that differs.

Pro 145PS
Pro Performance 204PS

They both appear to have the same WLTP, I have never driven the 145PS version of the car.

Battery choices are 45kWh, 58kWh and 77kWh with
45kWh only being available with 145PS motor
77kWh having the 204PS motor
58kWh you have a choice of 145 or 204

I think the difference between those models is the motor power rather than the battery. I have the pro (143 BHP). It doesn’t feel slow in any way, indeed feels positively nippy, partly because of the lack of gear changes and instant torque. Maybe the pro performance would be more fun but I don’t feel any need for it.

Depends what you're used to I suppose. My 150kW Life and Family feel quite quick, but not ridiculously quick, after coming from a marginally quicker Polo GTI+ and a much quicker Golf R.

I swear that our Family is a little quicker off the line than our Life, even though the drive trains are exactly the same.

Audi S3 - because I hate rapid charging for long distance driving.

Motor power is the difference, as others have mentioned:

I came from a Mercedes with 227 bhp, I was always going to get a 204 PS ID.3, I'm happy to have the extra power to push the weight along...

If you can afford the 58 pro performance then go for it. Its just loads more fun, and 0-30 you are quicker then most cars on the road

If you prefer to spend the difference on a pack or two, that's up to your persona preference. The non-performance 58 is very good

This is incorrect - it has a 150PS motor.

Bear in mind also that bigger batteries = more cells = more weight.

As was pointed out a couple of posts above by Scott28tt by posting the actual details from the website, I did it of the top of my head.
