If you buy a Zappi and have the space for PV and a small rooftop Wind generator...

What are the most cost effective PV and wind turbine products out there.

and.... what other 'gubbins' is required to make it all work ?

cheers

I think your on the wrong forum for that kind of info..

There are (you probably know) specific areas on the MyEnergi forums for both Battery storage and PV production. https://myenergi.info/pv-discussion-f58/

I have used sites such as https://midsummerwholesale.co.uk/ when researching PV options and they have some handy tools for planning installations (I've never ordered through them though as I wasn't that brave to go full DIY, they did put me in touch with an installer though)
e.g. EasyPV https://midsummerwholesale.co.uk/training-events you can specify the dimensions of your roof space etc and add different panels (from their range) to see what fits and the tool indicates what other items are required.

Hope that helps a little

Thanks.

We are in the process of ordering a ID.3 on a lease.
Comes with a charger install included, but the option to pay more for a Zappi.
Hence my interest in getting the most out of a Zappi.
I've never really trusted the idea of grid-tie financially.
Options to use your harvest directly really appeals.

I'm on square one researching options so any links are helpful.
I never thought to check out the myenergyi site, although my head is spinning with all the youtube vids of what is out there.

many thanks,
