Don’t forget that installer is not just doing those 4 hours work, though. Also filling out OZEV paperwork, building regs paperwork, the initial site survey, maybe a bit of self-insurance for future ‘unpaid’ warranty work.
I’ve no idea what else goes on, and it would be no surprise to me to see prices reduce when there’s no grant (some of which would of course be because the work required for the grant claim wouldn’t be required!). Just a balancing view of the “how much??? He was only here for x hours” statements
