Replacement windscreen problems

Just had to have a new windscreen on my ID3 Performance Pro.
Had it done under the insurance and LV mandated that I went to National Windscreens. They did a poor job. They have done goodness knows what with the rain sensor and I am now getting front assist warnings that it is not fully functional, clean the windscreen, etc. Never had anything like that before. I am not convinced they have aligned or reinstalled the front camera correctly. Could someone do me a favour please and reply with a photo of your front camera as seen through the windscreen from the front so I can compare. Here is how mine looks.

LV arranged my windscreen replacement with Autoglass, who did a superb job.

Did you get an original VW windscreen? LV policy indicated replacements were only guaranteed to be "equivalent quality"

They have glued the sensor back on incorrectly. I don't have my car to hand at the moment for a picture but this has come up a few times. Here are some photos of badly fitted screens from the Facebook owners group...that had to be redone. Should be covered by autoglass or insurance I'd have thought.

I had a replacement windscreen on my Skoda superb through national windscreens, I told them several times that screen was heated but they managed to fit a non heated one. I called them to complain and they said it was my fault until I showed them emails clearly reminding them it was a heated one. They did an awfu job fitting where you could see the rubber poking out in a couple of places. Car was due to go back shortly after and couldn't be bothered to complain again. Awful service.

Thank you for forwarding that. Seems like they have done exactly the same to me. Have raised the issue with National Windscreens and the manager says he will get an original VW windscreen and redo the whole job. I hope they do it right this time!!
