Connection problem
Been having a no internet connection problem with my ID3, been back and forth with technical services over the phone for 2 weeks with no joy. Finally they tell me they have a "solution" but car will have to go into the dealer. Cars been in for "solution", obviously it's not worked. Next step they want to try an aerial from a forecourt car to see if that works. Also they tell me there's a chance the extended warranty might not cover the cost of diagnosis and also possibly the repair depending on fault! So be aware the extended warranty doesn't give you that much piece of mind. So at the moment the dealership are on trial and error at £160/HR! Also a week ago the satnav started playing up, think it might be related. The car shows on screen as miles away from actual location, seems like GPS not working, hence them thinking it might be the aerial. Pretty fed up at the minute, really love the car, but being stuck with main dealer for repairs is frustrating.
