Morning everyone and happy new year.
I’m wanting a dash cam fitted in my ID3 and this is something I can’t do myself and want professionally done. My VW dealership fit the Nextbase 522 GW and it will cost £279 with everything included- kit and fitting. For some reason I’m a bit nervous about getting one fitted because I read on this forum a long time ago that someone had a dash cam fitted-NOT BY VW- and it affected other functions of their ID3.
Am I worrying for nothing? The 522 GW is a great dash cam and I like the idea of my dealership fitting it in case something goes wrong. Are there any other places that you can recommend for fitting? Thanks.

I had my Viofo front and rear fitted by a mobile fitter from RS Connect. Didn't have any issues.
